The glue in a player’s ruse.

I am the treble in your songs

The base in my drums.

I am the strings in our guitars.

The rythm in each poem.

I am the color yellow

and The shade black.

I am your every laugh.

The momentum in every tear.

I am what you know.

The things that remain unseen.

I am your favorite show.

The thing you fear the most.

I am us.

The us in lust.

I am love.

The throbbing in your chest.

I am everything you cease to be

Yet everything you are

I am one.

Yet I am two.

I am me and I am you.
